Jacob’s budding career with the firm commenced in 2016, working behind the scenes in an administrative role before commencing works as our Accounts Manager from 2019 onwards. Jacob was also a law clerk whilst completing his tertiary education and supervised legal training.
Jacob graduated from the University of Southern Queensland with a Bachelor of Business and Commerce and Bachelor of Laws.
Jacob is admitted as a Solicitor in the Supreme Court of Queensland and is registered on the High Court of Australia Register of Practitioners.
Jacob is passionate about providing clear and effective legal solutions and understands the importance of strong client relationships. Jacob’s service, professionalism and commitment to success is exemplified by his unwavering commitment to go above and beyond for his clients.
Beyond the office, Jacob enjoys all things sport, family and friends.
With over 20 years experience in residential conveyancing, Belinda makes her client’s dreams of buying or selling their home a reality.
Belinda’s focus is on ensuring the conveyancing process is seamless. She is committed to keeping her clients informed, regularly communicating progress throughout the conveyancing process.
Her approachable manner means that she is available to put your mind at ease, should you have any questions along the way.
Debbie is a paralegal to the Chris Sheath & Associates team, providing support on matters related to Conveyancing, Wills & Estates, as well as to the Mediation team. With over 41 years legal experience, Debbie has been a part of the firm since 2014 and is a Qualified Justice of the Peace.
Debbie enjoys working at Chris Sheath & Associates for the culture and the team environment. There is a lot of support, as well as laughter, which lessens the stress of working on difficult matters. Debbie is efficient, very organised and treats each matter with sensitivity and respect. She has a focus on communication and keeping her clients well informed through every step of the process.
Out of the office, Debbie enjoys spending time in her garden and travelling the outdoors in her caravan.
After 33 years working professionally, Naomi is recognised as the friendly face of Chris Sheath & Associates.
After graduating from High School, Naomi began her career in Brisbane where she worked for various law firms as a legal receptionist and law clerk. Over the decades to follow, Naomi expanded her career across Australia and abroad, obtaining diverse experience across multiple industries before returning to the legal profession at Chris Sheath & Associates.
Naomi returned to law for the opportunity to build rapport with clients and colleagues, while effectively managing sensitive matters professionally. She credits the ability to help clients achieve positive outcomes as a personal and professional motivator.
An avid art collector, Naomi’s passion and appreciation of art extends from her travels throughout the world. Her ideal evening includes a glass of Merlot, great music and the company of her two cats.
With a career spanning more than 20 years, Chris is recognised by the Queensland Law Society as an Accredited Specialist in Succession Law (Wills & Estates) and as a Nationally Accredited Mediator. He is also a member of the global professional body STEP (Society of Trust & Estate Practitioners) and a member of the QLS Succession Law Accreditation Committee.
Chris is a regular presenter for various professional seminars including the Queensland Law Society, for his highly revered thought-leadership across the legal industry. Chris is a regular presenter to a number of professional organisations including accountants and financial planners across the community.
Chris’ focus is to provide clear, concise and cost-effective legal advice for his clients in a variety of specialist areas including property law, business law and succession law (wills & estate planning).
